Post Jam Build


Post Jam build ahoy!

That's right, the first major update is here! (Update 1.1)

We have been working hard since the Game Jam as we have just been loving the concept and think it deserves to be updated with a few a bug fixes and even some new features that either were almost implemented but not completely finished or completely new features that we thought needed to be added!

Bug fixes

  • Fixed death
  • Chips actually go towards you now
  • No longer start with 1000 chips
  • Fixed Ending
  • Changed name of .exe
  • Keeping Upgrades is now a thing
  • No longer start with 5 runs done
  • Room number resets to 0 when dying
  • Removed cheating (Dev command was left in)
  • Health resets at the start of each run
  • Saves chips after buying an upgrade
  • Use button no longer appears when you don't have any upgrade slots left
  • Changed directory for save files from DefaultCompany to Harry and The Redcoat
  • Coins no longer continue through to the hub if dying before the final level


Now it's time for the main event, turn off your phones, finish your conversations and get comfy, you need to get ready for this.

New features (yay)

  • Added animations to enemies 
  • Added health bars to enemies (including the boss)
  • Added splash image
  • Added game icon
  • Added 4 new upgrades:
    • Investment - When enemies drop a chip, They have a 20% chance of dropping another chip of that same type. Investment can trigger itself.  
    • Rabbit's Paw - Decreases the amount of chips enemies drop significantly, But increases the value of any chip they do draw.
    • Swift - Move 10% faster.
    • Glue - Enemies’ invincibility frames last 50% longer. Enemies cannot move while in their invincibility state.
  • Added Player animations (All directions)
  • Enemies now stop while attacking
  • When you have a dash upgrade in effect you gain a stamina bar
  • Reworked speed of game to match greasy cheese
  • Chips now save before the boss as well as after
  • You can now see an upgrades description (and name) before buying it
  • Dogs now no longer run away after being hit
  • Player stops while attacking
  • Added 2 new small rooms
  • Changed image on main page not have placeholder art
  • Changed shopkeeper on shop UI


There are a few features that we planned to add for the game jam and still aren't in the game, such as more room variants like shops or hospitals, which we hope to add if we continue development.
